As temperatures climb into the mid 70s, snow is a distant memory. However, there might be a thunderstorm popping up later today. Fulton received 0.02-inch of rain Sunday while Oswego got just a trace.
The calendar may say spring. But Old Man Winter is still hanging around. The Fulton area received 0.2-inch of snow yesterday. If the temperature forecast is correct, that should be the last snow we see for a long time.
According to Bill Gregway, local observer for the national Weather Service, Oswego received 1.2 inches of snow. “There was a lot, an awful lot, to our south and west,” he said. “It caused a lot of accidents and closings elsewhere. For us, it was no big deal.”
