April showers will continue to fall on the Oswego – Fulton area for a while. But there is no snow in sight.
Fulton and Oswego received no snow yesterday. But March did end on a rainy note – and it has carried over into April as well.
Fulton didn’t receive any rain on Wednesday. It all started falling after midnight. And, there is a chance it might turn to – snow.

According to Bill Gregway, local observer for the national Weather Service, Oswego received 1.2 inches of snow. “There was a lot, an awful lot, to our south and west,” he said. “It caused a lot of accidents and closings elsewhere. For us, it was no big deal.”
There was no snow in Fulton on Monday. It was all rain – more than a half inch.The monthly total jumped to 3.38 inches and the annual total now stands at 4.54 inches.
Fulton and Oswego received no snow or rain on March 20. However, today, the first full day of spring, is a different story.
The Fulton area enjoyed a sunny and dry St. Patrick’s Day.
Fulton’s monthly rainfall total inched up to 2.55 inches. Another 0.03-inch fell early one March 14. There was no more snowfall, however.
Old Man Winter is still sputtering. According to Fulton’s weather observer, 1.0 inch of snow fell on March 12 with another 0.3-inch on the 13th. Total snowfall for March now stands at 5.0 inches. Oswego received just a trace of snow on March 13. The monthly total stands at 4.0 inches and the winter season to 176.5 inches.
