Open houses scheduled at Cayuga Community College will demonstrate the academic, athletic and social opportunities available to students at Cayuga’s campuses in Auburn and Fulton.
The Fall Open House and Financial Aid Days allow prospective students, their families and community members to learn about Cayuga’s degree programs, student support services, athletic offerings, clubs and activities.
The Fall Open House and Financial Aid Day at Cayuga’s Auburn Campus is scheduled for Saturday, November 10, while the event is scheduled for Saturday, November 17, at the Fulton Campus.
Both events are open from 9 a.m. to noon.
“Every semester we look forward to hosting these free open houses for prospective students and their families. They are a great opportunity to see everything that we offer at Cayuga Community College, and for people to discuss their career and education plans with our faculty and staff,” said Director of Admissions Bruce Blodgett. “We invite anyone interested in enrolling, whether it’s full-time, part-time or just for a class or two, to visit our campuses.”
One of the most affordable colleges in New York, Cayuga offers 30 degree programs and 10 certificate programs.
In addition to featuring a small student-to-faculty ratio of 17:1, the college also offers flexible scheduling options, with degrees and courses available online and at its Auburn and Fulton campuses.
The open houses will include an overview of Cayuga and breakout sessions for students to learn more about specific degree programs and additional services.
Staff will be available to assist with financial aid applications and to discuss the types of available aid and the award process. Attendees can also discuss courses and programs with faculty, tour the campuses and find information about student clubs and organizations.
Registration is encouraged but not required.
