OSWEGO, NY – Holly Chapman has been promoted as the director of clinical reimbursement/assistant administrator at The Manor at Seneca Hill.
Chapman, a six-year employee, had been the assistant administrator/controller.
In her new role, Chapman will combine her finance expertise with her clinical expertise, as she oversees reporting the changes in the clinical documentation process that determines The ManorÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s reimbursement from various payors, including Medicare and Medicaid.
ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œI will work to ensure that our documentation is complete so that we are appropriately reimbursed,ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â Chapman said. ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œThis data will also be shared with the public and through these documents community members will see that we are providing great quality care at The Manor.ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â
Members of the public will be able to view this documentation through MedicareÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Nursing Home Compare website.
In addition to managing reimbursements, in her new position, Chapman will oversee The ManorÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s nursing rehabilitation initiatives that include educating residents on how they can maintain their independence.

Chapman earned an associates degree in accounting from Alfred State University and her registered nurse degree from Finger Lakes Community College.
She is pursuing her bachelorÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s degree, and hopes to also earn her administration license in long-term care.
In her spare time, Chapman enjoys golfing, boating and motorcycling.
The Manor, a 120-bed skilled nursing home is part of the Oswego Health system, which also includes the Oswego Hospital; Springside at Seneca Hill, a retirement living community; as well as numerous services across Oswego County.
