Cleveland Historical Society Hosts Benefit Dinner

CLEVELAND – Mark your calendar for the Cleveland Historical Society’s annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser! Dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 21 at the American Legion Post #858 on New York State Route 49 in Cleveland.

“This is a great opportunity to enjoy a good meal, visit with friends and support the historical society,” said Kathy Darrow, vice president of the Cleveland Historical Society. “People can also use this chance to sign up to become a member of the society and pay their 2012 dues.”

The experienced cooks of the Cleveland Historical Society will prepare the dinner which will include angel hair spaghetti, homemade meatballs and sauce, sausage, tossed salad, Italian bread, homemade desserts and beverages.

The evening also features a silent auction with many unique pieces, including a football signed by Pro and College Football Hall of Fame legend Thurman Thomas. Other quality items available to bid will be a Ravensberger puzzle, Princess House hurricane lamp, 5-piece wine set, handmade designer pillows, photos, paintings and books.

Dinner prices at the door are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors age 55 and older, and $5 for children age 12 and younger. Take-out will also be available.
