FULTON – CNY Arts Center announces a new theatre series set to debut Valentine’s Day, February 14 with “Love Letters,” starring Mark Cole and Banna Rubinow in co-production with Theatre Du Jour.
The combination of dessert and a show will return several times throughout the year with smaller shows and a buffet of luscious desserts.
“We’re excited to have this alternative to full scale productions which will give our adult audiences a change of pace,” said Nancy Fox, director. “We’ve had great success with our family productions and we expect an occasional evening out for exotic desserts and a show in a nice ambiance will be something adults and parents can look forward to. Sometimes it will be a play or cabaret we produce in-house and other times it will be a co-production with another theatre company which gives more theatre professionals access to our audience and stage.”
“We’re excited to host Theatre Du Jour, Oswego’s newest theatre company, for the debut of our series and especially proud to bring this production of “Love Letters” starring Mark Cole and Banna Rubinow to our audience,” Fox continued. “The stellar performances of both these accomplished actors will bring a professionalism to our stage that supports our commitment to providing an engaging arts experience for the community.”
Dessert and “Love Letters” by A. R. Gurney will be presented February 14 at 8 p.m. in the CNY Arts Center new facility, on the CCC Campus in River Glen Plaza.
Ticket price includes dessert. Reservations are available online at www.CNYArtsCenter.com or call 598-ARTS (2787).
