Community Worship Set At Fulton’s Gazebo

FULTON, NY – The greater Fulton community is invited to participate in public worship on August 31 at 10:30 a.m. at Fulton’s downtown gazebo.

The service is sponsored by several congregations: Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, State Street United Methodist Church, First United Church of Fulton and the Oswego-Fulton Faith Partnership.

The service will include the celebration of communion.

Everyone is invited to bring a food offering for the Salvation Army Food Pantry.

The Reverend Anne Wichelns representing the Oswego-Fulton Faith Partnership will bring the message.

A combined choir, directed by Cindy MacDougall, will rehearse the anthem at 9:45 a.m.

The Reverend Richard Klafehn, representing Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, will give primary leadership in the serving of communion.

Communion is open to all who confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

The Reverend David Nethercott of First United Church of Fulton will also be assisting in the leadership of the service.

Refreshments will be shared following the service.

It is recommended that you bring your own lawn chair.

In case of inclement weather, the service will take place at an alternative site, First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St.
