The school’s annual Accelerated Reader Festival celebrated the accomplishments of each student in first through sixth grade who achieved a personal or AR goal.

Library Media Specialist Barb Senecal said students who met their goals received one prize, but if it was doubled, they were awarded two prizes, and so on.

Students who were invited to the event also maintained an average of 80 or higher on their Accelerated Reader tests.

All festival activities centered on this year’s Accelerated Reader theme of “Read with PIZZAzz.”

A photo booth featured fun props, including a slice of pepperoni pizza, and fun games were all about pizza.

Each attendee also received a bottle of water and a gummy pizza.
