OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Veterans’ Services Agency (VSA) reminds residents that its office is open by appointment only until further notice.
“Our office remains open during normal business hours, and we continue to be available to answer questions and assist our veterans,” said Oswego County VSA Director Eric Boozer. “If a veteran has a simple question, they can call us; or, if they need to file a claim or have a more detailed issue, they can call or stop in to schedule an appointment. This way, we can ensure each veteran gets the attention and support their case deserves.”
The temporary use of required appointments is due to the VSA office being short staffed. Once a new veterans’ services officer is hired, appointments will be encouraged rather than required.
Appointments can be made by visiting or calling the office. It is located at 200 N. Second St., Fulton, and open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. and on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to noon. The VSA office phone number is 315-591-9100.
Satellite hours will continue as normal on the first and second Thursday of each month from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the H. Douglas Barclay Courthouse, 1 Broad St., Pulaski.
