The younger students of the program went door-to-door inside the Fulton Education Center seeking sweet treats from staff members and Fulton City School District administrators.

The generosity of the fellow teachers, typists, FCSD administrators and additional staff members brought smiles to students dressed as Iron Man, Mal from Descendants 2 and some students who chose to be themselves.

The students were delighted to receive all of the goodies, including various fruits from the kitchen staff.

Fourth Street School principal Erin Simmons said she was happy to participate in the annual event, as she handed out fun-size chocolates.

It also coincided with her goal of continuing to improve the building’s climate and culture throughout the 2017-18 school year.

Stepping Stones Day Program is a collaborative effort between the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation and Hillside Children’s Center, which provides a structured, small-group environment that helps students overcome emotional and behavioral challenges.
