APW Families Enjoy an Evening at the Ball

Just like the famed lyrics from the Black Eyed Peas song, “I Gotta Feeling,” the students at Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Elementary School had a “good, good night” at two recent family dances.

The APW Parent-Teacher-Student Association sponsored the dance for students in kindergarten through grades three at the school.

The APW Parent-Teacher-Student Association hosted a Glow-In-The-Dark Dance Party on January 31 for students in grades four through six and then a Snow Ball on February 7 for students in kindergarten through grade three.

Portraits of each family were taken at the dances and given to each attendee as a commemorative keepsake of their time at the dance.

The PTSA and parent volunteers supplied refreshments and each student was given a special gift – students at the glow dance received neon glow necklaces while students at the ball received a boutonniere or a corsage.
