Area Students Graduate from The State University of New York at Potsdam

POTSDAM, NY – The State University of New York at Potsdam awarded more than 920 undergraduate and graduate degrees during its 2012 Commencement ceremonies on May 19 and 20.

SUNY Potsdam honored upwards of 750 students with bachelor’s degrees, while another 170 graduate students earned their master’s at the college’s commencement weekend.

The graduates included:

Stephanie Fochtman of Oswego, NY, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Geology

Kaitlyn Gelsi of Martville, NY, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Childhood/Early Child Education

Sean Hall of Cato, NY, who earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature

Heather Harrison of Phoenix, NY, who earned a master’s degree in Music Education K-12 (Master of Music)

Courtney Ingison of Hannibal, NY, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology

Katherine Irwin of Oswego, NY, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts

Daniel McCune of Central Square, NY, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Musical Studies

Lia Preuss of Central Square, NY, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Childhood/Early Child Education

Marjorie Yerdon of Pulaski, NY, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Literature/Writing
