PARISH, NY – Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I—Pulaski) recently read to Mrs. Kelley’s and Mrs. Ruffos’ second grade classes at Parish Elementary School.

The Assemblyman read a Dr. Seuss book and talked with the students about how laws work and how they can govern such things as the length of the school year.
Barclay visited the school as part of Read Across America — an event held at many schools throughout the country to encourage leisure reading and good literature.
The event was created in honor of Dr. Seuss and is held on or near his birthday each year.
