Barclay Secures $3,900 for Public Address System

Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I—Pulaski) today announced that he has secured a $3,900 legislative grant for the Village of Pulaski to purchase a public address system for South Park.

The new system will allow village and community leaders to more clearly communicate with people who visit the park.  The system will be fastened to the park gazebo and will project sound through the park.

“I’m pleased I could help the village of Pulaski purchase this system.  This will enable village and community leaders to be heard during important events and announcements and therefore, allow people to be more engaged in their special events such as Light-up Pulaski and the Salmon River Festival.  More music will also be enjoyed during the Farmer’s Markets,” said Barclay.

“This will be a great improvement over our old system,” said Ernie Wheeler, Mayor of Pulaski.  “A number of people who attend events say they can’t hear announcements.  This new system will allow everyone to hear.”

“Assemblyman Barclay does a great job and he’s always supporting our community.  He really works with you to help resolve the problem and he’s always willing to go to bat for you,” Wheeler added.

Wheeler hopes the new system will be installed prior to the Salmon River Festival on Sept. 6. missing or outdated ad config
