OSWEGO, NY – The city of Oswego will host its first free bike safety event co-sponsored by the Oswego City Police Department and Oswego City Fire Department on June 6.

It will take place at the East Side Fire Station from 5 to 8 p.m., rain or shine.
Bring your bike and helmet if you have one and practice your skills safely on the bike course.
Helmets will be available from the firefighter and police clubs.
Oswego Speedway will sponsor racecars and a simulator to try, MoveAlong will have adaptive cycles to ride, and Oswego Karate will be doing a demonstration.
Tim Horton’s will be providing snacks, the State Police will have a roll-over simulator there, and fire trucks will be on display.
Oswego City Police Bike Officers will be assisting bicyclists on the course.
