Bird Song Saunter at Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center

AMBOY – To paraphrase a classic movie, “The woodlands are alive with sound of music,”  bird song of course, and the music is enchanting.

On June 7 at 7 p.m., delight in an evening concert along woodland trails of the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center.

Come wander the trails and brook side, led by naturalist Pat Carney, seeking and listening to feathered friends engaged in courtship, nesting, and defending territory.

Participants may see a Pine Warbler, Wood Thrush, or Cedar Waxwings near the beaver pond.

Binoculars are recommended. A limited number are available to borrow.

Bird Song Saunter is a program designed for people of all ages.

There is a program fee of $4 per person or $12 per family, and children younger than 3 are free.

The Amboy 4-H Environmental Educational Center is located at 748 Route 183, between routes 13 and 69 near Williamstown.
