OSWEGO, NY – The Clubhouse Tavern, in Oswego and Wiltsie Construction have joined together to cook up an idea to benefit the United Way’s Success By 6 Program.
On July 24 from 8 – 11:30 a.m., the Clubhouse Tavern, 126 W. Second St., will host a free breakfast.
Sponsored by Wiltsie Construction and the Clubhouse Tavern, the breakfast is open to the public.
Any donations accepted at the event will benefit to United Way’s Success By 6 Program.
“This is the fifth year that we have hosted this event,†said Robert McGrath, owner of the tavern. “The United Way’s Success By 6 program does a lot to benefit the youth in our community and we are happy to be able to support their efforts and help raise money for their programs. With the city filled with visitors for Harborfest we are looking forward to welcoming a big crowd.â€
An initiative of the United Way, Success By 6 strives to increase the effectiveness of the community to meet the needs of children up to age six and their families.
By sharing information and exploring new collaborations for service delivery, Success By 6 seeks to mobilize resources to ensure all children are physically, socially, emotionally and behaviorally able to learn when entering school.
