Casting Complete for Players’ Holiday Production

OSWEGO – Casting is complete for the Oswego Players’ holiday production of Jean Shepard’s “A Christmas Story.”

“A Christmas Story” tells familiar tale of Ralphie and his family’s yuletide adventures, growing up in 1940 Gary, Indiana.

The Players’ version of the show features a large cast of area children and adults including Eli Belawski as Ralphie along with Tammy Wilkinson and Micheal Bolio, as Mother and the Old Man.

Other cast members include Josh Delorenzo, as older Ralph; Apollo Avery, as Randy; Stephanie Johnson, Miss Shields; Jesse Pauldine, as Flick; August Mcdonald, as Schwartz; Leah Norton, as Ester Jane; Ella Culligan, as Helen Weathers; Noah Pauldine, as Scut Farkas; Isaac Kearns, as Toadie; Matthew Belawske, as a townsperson and Alyssa Clavelli also as a townsperson.

“A Christmas Story” was adapted for the stage by Jean Shepard Leigh Brown and Bob Clark.

The show will be directed by Bobby Fontana, assisted by Norman Berlin III as stage manager.

The show is presented by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing.

“A Christmas Story” will be presented on December 1, 2, 7, and 8 at 8 p.m. and December 9 at 2 p.m. at the Frances Marion Brown Theater at Fort Ontario Park in Oswego.

Ticket prices include: studenst and seniors $9 and adults $14.
