FULTON, NY – In response to the increasing demand for food subsidy in the area, Helen Hoefer, supervisor of Community Services for Catholic Charities of Oswego County, has announced that the agency’s food pantry will now be open six days a week.

“In the past few weeks we have seen a significant increase in the number of families and individuals that are accessing our food pantry,” said Hoefer. “To better accommodate our clients we are open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:30 – 7 p.m.; and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.”
Catholic Charities food pantry, as well as its administration offices are now located in the vacant St. Michael’s Church building, at the corner of West Third and Beech streets.
