Central Square School District pride was shown at an Arts and Academics Showcase held at Central Square Intermediate School May 12.

The evening was complete with an egg drop, science projects, instrumental entertainment and students role playing famous historical characters.
Parents, administrators and board members were in attendance to see the students showcase their academic achievements and learning.
Vehicles were lined up down the road.

Some of the historical figures the fourth-graders represented were Theodore Roosevelt, Calvin Klein and George Eastman.
Science projects ranged from electromagnetism experiments to the environmental studies of birds.
Students waited anxiously to the side of the school to see if their egg survived the egg drop from the school’s roof.
The egg drop experiment teaches scientific concepts of physics, gravity and engineering.
Musical instruments also filled the hallways as band students performed solos as entertainment for the evening.
