Certification Renewal Course Offered For Safety Seat Technicians

OSWEGO TOWN, NY – Calling all former child passenger safety technicians.

Did you used to be a certified child passenger technician? Did all your friends and family depend on YOU to help them with their car seats?

A one-day course in certification renewal will be offered at the Oswego Town Volunteer Fire Department on Feb. 18.

If your two-year certification lapsed in the past eight years you are eligible to recertify by taking this eight-hour course.

Come join us for a great start to 2012 and get back into helping the children in your community by becoming a certified child passenger technician again.

What: Child Passenger Technician lapsed certification class

When: Feb. 18 – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. – lunch/snacks provided

Cost: $75 for expired technicians – reimbursed upon completion of the course through a grant with the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee. Candidate pays on line, prints their confirmation of that payment and enrollment in the class and brings to class on Feb 18.
