OSWEGO, NY – Members of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce joined local officials in welcoming the chamber’s newest member, Gelato d’Italia, with a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark its grand opening.

Located inside the Oswego Tea Company, 157 E. First St., Suite 12, Gelato d’Italia is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offers Italy’s wonderful version of ice cream, with dozens of flavors made with authentic Italian ingredients and half the fat of traditional American ice cream.
All fruit flavors are made with real fruit and are dairy free.
In Italy, Gelato is traditionally served in coffee houses as the tastes of coffee and gelato complement one another.
At the Geddes Bakery in North Syracuse, the Pappas family made Gelato famous in the North Syracuse area.
Upon purchase by Rich and Thelma Lambert, Gelato d’Italia expanded to the Carousel Mall and to the desert menus of some of Syracuse’s finest restaurants.
Owners, Caleb Longley and Raymond Montie have now brought Gelato to Oswego with the opening of Gelato d’Italia.

Richard & Thelma Lambert never bought Gelato by Geddes.
IT WAS NEVER FOR SALE.
