The North Mexico United Methodist Church has been hosting their famous chicken barbecues for more than 30 years and this year is no exception. Our first chicken barbecue of 2010 will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 12 NOON. With all that experience you know our chicken is the best in the Mexico area. We don’t just serve chicken here; we have baked beans, salt potatoes (and who doesn’t love those??), cabbage salad, pickles, roll, dessert and drinks. Where can you go to get a menu like that and chicken this good for only $8.00 for an adult dinner? Children ages 6-12 are just $4.00 under five are free. We also have takeout’s available for dinners for $8.00 and half chickens available for only $4.00. This year the church is raising funds to upgrade the wiring in the church. Our campers will also be selling items during the barbecue to raise funds to attend camp. Please come and join us on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 12 NOON until we are sold out!
