FULTON, NY – The menu is set and the beer’s getting cold in preparation for the Child Advocacy Center’s (CAC) inaugural Chicken Wing and Micro-Brew Fest!

To be held Feb. 4 from 5 to 9 p.m. at one of Warm Up Oswego’s official Fiesta Hot Spots, the CAC’s Chicken Wing and Micro-Brew Fest at GS Steamers, 70 E. First St., in Oswego, will feature chicken wings from a variety of Oswego County’s favorite eateries, including: Canale’s Restaurant, Cheap Seats Sports Bar & Grill, End Zone, Franco’s Pizza, Greene’s Ale House and GS Steamers.
The restaurants will compete for the CAC’s Blue Ribbon Award for the best tasting chicken wing as they offer samples of their signature chicken wings. Eagle Beverage will also be on hand to offer samples from a wide variety of micro-brews.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the CAC, a non-profit organization that works hand-in-hand with local law enforcement, prosecution, child protective services, medical providers, mental health providers, and victim advocacy professionals in Oswego County to protect and serve child victims of sexual and physical abuse. In 2011 the CAC served 384 children and families in Oswego County.
The CAC’s main office is located at 301 Beech St. in Fulton; there is also a satellite office at 4822 Salina St. in Pulaski.
Tickets to attend the CAC Chicken Wing & Micro-Brew Fest are $10 each, advance sale, $15 at the door and include a sampling of each restaurant’s signature chicken wing and each micro-brew.
Additional samplings will be available for purchase at the event.
