Dr. Jason Cunningham and Dr. Casey McCaffrey have joined the list of chiropractors participating in Patient Appreciation Day, a fundraiser in support of the United Way of Greater Oswego County. On Saturday, May 15th, participating chiropractors will offer chiropractic treatments for current and former patients, as well as examinations for new patients in exchange for a $15 donation to the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

Coordinated by Dr. Richard Tesoriero of Tesoriero Chiropractic, Patient Appreciation Day is an opportunity for health conscious individuals to receive an important examination and valuable information at a very affordable price. Thanks to Dr. Tesoriero’s efforts, this year’s Patient Appreciation Day has the participation of more chiropractors than in the past, including Dr. Jason Cunningham who opened his practice in Oswego in 2009. “I decided to participate in the United Way’s Patient Appreciation Day because as a new business owner back in my home community, I believe it’s important for me to show the gratitude, love and genuine concern I have for this community,” said Dr. Cunningham. “ What better way to do that than to align myself with a group which has a long and rich history nationwide of building stronger communities with secure futures. It’s vital that community members support their local United Way. It is an organization that helps our community help itself to flourish educationally, economically, and socially, both now as well as into our children’s future.”

Dr. Casey, who opened his practice in Oswego in 2007, sees the event as more than just a chance to help the United Way. “I feel a great deal of appreciation for the support I receive from my patients. This is an opportunity to give back and say thank you. It also is a chance to introduce and familiarize people with chiropractic, which has been proven to be very successful in treating people in a cost effective, drug free way. I am very proud of my profession, and happy to be able to support the United Way as it serves a very diverse and broad range of worthy charitable organizations in an equitable way” said Dr. Casey.

All proceeds from the day will benefit the United Way of Greater Oswego County and the many member agency programs that the United Way supports.
