The recent Fourth Street School open house was a huge success, thanks to teachers, students and families who came together in support of Exceptional Education programming with the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation.

One-on-one meetings with parents and teachers provided detailed information about student progress, strengths and achievements, while conversations and smiles were aplenty with the entire crowd.
Students took their families to their classrooms, gymnasium, to see school pets, the nurse’s office, Principal Erin Simmons’ office, the new and improved chill zone room and the library media center.
Free books were also available for children who attended and light refreshments were served.
