FULTON, NY – CNY Arts Center is celebrating the recent prize-winning third annual Arts Fest with 50 vendors and hundreds in attendance.

Prizes were awarded to three lucky winners that included two gift baskets each with a variety of gifts from the vendors and a collection of art supplies for a budding artist.
Karen Perry was the winner for the over-size grand prize basket of prizes and gifts donated by the vendors and valued at more than $200.
Angela Becker won the second prize basket, a smaller collection of gifts and items from each of the vendors.
Laura Bishop received a collection of art supplies and a CNY Arts Center signature bag as winner of the third prize basket.

Talented performers took home prizes, too.
In the under 12 category, Sasha Loyoza received a first place trophy for his violin performance. In the 12-20 age group, Taylor Hamer earned a first place for her original contemporary dance by one point over Rhiannon Ellison coming in second place with a powerful acappella vocal number. The band Double Tap took home the first ever Garage Band trophy in first place. Also participating in the talent competition were vocalist Amber Hammond and cello player Sophia Loyoza.
The arts fest drew a large crowd and a great day for all who attended.

“We were very happy with the attendance and generally the mood was very high,” said Nancy Fox, director. “It is a lot to juggle to meet the needs of so many from food vendors to artists to performers. Our mission is to provide for all arts and we try to balance the artist vendors with performance opportunities onstage with a ready-made audience for these young performers to appear in front of. It’s often tough to find a balance between the noise level for the music and the vendors who need to talk with customers. Each year we work to improve the experience for everyone and have already begun planning for next year.”
The arts organization offers all arts for all ages, classes, theatre productions, summer art camp for children and a gallery for artists to display their work.
