Conservatives Invite Senate Candidate to Annual Dinner

The Oswego County Conservative Committee will hold its Annual Spring Dinner on April 29, 2010. The keynote speaker will be former Congressman, author and US Senate candidate Joseph DioGuardi. Joe was elected to Congress in 1984 from Westchester County, serving three terms. He was the first CPA elected to Congress in more than two hundred years. DioGuardi exposed a dozen of dishonest accounting gimmicks used by the federal government. In 1992 he wrote “Unaccountable Congress”, exposing how our lawyer-filled Congress has deceived the public and mismanaged our money.

The Conservative Party will be honoring Ronald and Vincent Caravan, former editors and owners of the Valley News. They will be receiving the Conservative Party’s William F. Buckley Jr. Award for understanding the true meaning of conservatism and for supporting the principals of the Conservative Party of New York State

The dinner will be held at 7PM preceded by a cash bar at 6PM at Lakeview Manor, 723 State Route 3, Fulton. The event is open to the public, however reservations are required. Advanced tickets are $38.00 per person or a Group Rate of $275.00 per table of eight. For Information call (315) 593-0770 or visit the Conservative Party web site: oscocp.org

  1. I wish I could go, Joe DioGuardi is a great speaker. He really knows how to connect with a group and get them fired up. I know he will get the nomination–He will help us get Washington under control. As a CPA, he knows how to balance a budget. GO JOE GO!
