Dana Howell Joins Catholic Charities’ Emergency Services Staff

FULTON, NY – Director of Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s Emergency Services program Helen Hoefer announced that Dana Howell has joined the staff as a program assistant.

As emergency services assistant, Howell will be responsible for providing assistance with applications for the USDA Food Stamp Program and Catholic Charities’ prescription medication assistance program, preparing for and coordinating the agency’s monthly food distributions, and overseeing the Youth Services workers and volunteers that assist the food pantry and the thrift shop.

Howell, who has previous experience in customer service, is happy to be a part of Catholic Charities’ Emergency Services program.

“I am very familiar with the services Catholic Charities offers and the help that it provides for those who are in need. I enjoy working with people and am looking forward to helping meeting the needs of those we serve,” he said.

Catholic Charities Emergency Services program provides a variety of services to those in need in Oswego County including a Client Choice Food Pantry, fresh food distributions, a thrift shop and much more.

The Client Choice Food Pantry is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 – 6 p.m.

The Thrift Shop is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
