Oswego County students are running out of time to visit the museum for their inspiration and to create their entry – which is due at the museum by 5 p.m. on Sept. 30.

“Art & History Rule!,” is a fun and educational art contest for grades 1-12 that encompasses the world of both art and history.

Cash prizes will be offered for the winners of each division of this contest, as selected by the judges.

A separate division is being offered this year for photographic entries.

Non-competitive prizes will be awarded to art entrants in grades 1 – 3.

Students are simply required to visit the museum, accompanied by a parent/guardian, sometime between now and Sept. 30 to tour the exhibits and prepare an entry inspired by the exhibit or artifact of their choice.

The artwork must be original and prepared by the entrant during this time, specifically for these contests.

Please contact the museum at 342-0480 or [email protected] with any questions.
