Dragonflies: Winged Jewels of the Pond

AMBOY – The public is invited to join guest presenter, Jim D’Angelo, of Sterling Nature Center, on September 25, 2 p.m.for a fascinating presentation and discussion on dragonflies the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center, followed by a hunt for these insect Masters of the Sky.

After the indoor program, enjoy a hike to the beaver pond with D’Angelo to observe and identify these amazing creatures.

There is a $4 fee per person with a family rate of $12.

Children under the age of 3 are free.

The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center is located at 748 State Route 183 in Amboy, between routes 69 and 13 near Williamstown in eastern Oswego County.
