OSWEGO – Faith United Church in Oswego is sponsoring a Community Easter Egg Hunt on April 13 with check-in beginning at 9:30 a.m.
The church is located at 12 Mark Fitzgibbons Drive (next to the middle school) in the city.
There will be three starting times for three different age groups: ages 2-4 years at 10 a.m.; ages 5-8 years at 10:30 a.m. and ages 9-11 years at 11 a.m.
Children who wish to participate in this Easter Egg Hunt must pre-register by April 12 at 2 p.m.
Only 100 children will be registered for the hunt.
To pre-register, call the church between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday at 315-343-3480 or e-mail the church at [email protected].
When calling or e-mailing, please provide the first and last name of the child and his or her age.
There will be candy or a prize in each egg and door prizes for each age group.
Parents will not be allowed inside the area where children are picking up Easter Eggs.
Parents are reminded to dress children for the weather, including boots if it’s a rainy day, and to provide a container for each child’s eggs.
Local merchants have been generous in providing prizes for the raffles.
Those merchants who have provided prizes are: CupCakers, Oswego Cinema, The Comic Shop, The River’s End Book Store, Murdock’s Bicycles & Sports, Harbor Towne Gifts, Stone’s Home Made Candy Shop, Cakes Galore, Stewart’s Shops Wayne Drug Co. and JP Jewelers.
