Enjoy A Songbird Saunter

It’s spring, and the woodlands are alive with sound of music.

Come enjoy an evening concert of bird songs, with a walk co-led by Faith Baker of the Onondaga Audubon Society and naturalist Pat Carney at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Educational Center on June 2 at 7 p.m. (rain date – June 3).

Observe and listen to nature’s feathered friends who are courting, nesting, and defending territory.

While the center does have a few pairs of binoculars to borrow, everyone is encouraged to bring their own.

Songbird Saunter is a program designed for people of all ages.

There is a program fee of $4 per person or $12 per family, and children under 3 are free.

The Amboy 4-H Environmental Educational Center is located at 748 Route 183, between routes 13 and 69 near Williamstown.
