Fairley Elementary School students recently showed their appreciation to local veterans during a school assembly.

Students recited the Pledge of Allegiance, sang patriotic songs and distributed red, white and blue-colored thank you cards to the honorees.
Excess cards from the third grade team will be sent to other local veterans, as a way to say ‘thank you.’
Members of the Hannibal American Legion Prior Stock Post 1552, including the color guard, stood by as administrative intern Jessica Piscitelli shared the history of Veterans’ Day.
