Fidelis Care sponsors the Oswego YMCA’s Kids’ Bike Challenge, scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2009. This event is open for youth ages 2 – 14 years of age. It will take place at Rudy’s of Lake Ontario beginning promptly at 9:00 am. Early arrival is encouraged as the adult race is scheduled to take off at 8:30 am.
Any child who owns a road, mountain bike, tricycle or big wheel is encouraged to participate. The first 75 registered will be guaranteed a shirt. Please note; a parent must accompany child. Helmets are required and bicycles should be in property working condition. All children must be accompanied by a parent to the event.
Children are encourage to stick around as Airhop inflatable’s will be on had to entertain kids, along with Magic show immediately following. We encourage you to stick around to watch the adult riders come in and it is a very exciting and fast finish for everyone to view.
To alleviate a lot of hassle we will NOT offer same day registration. You must pre-register by Friday, August 21st until 9:00 am, at the Oswego YMCA. The YMCA is located at 249 W. 1st Street, or call *Also, children who, for any reason, need assistance MUST be accompanied on the course by an adult rider provided by the family. Please advise the YMCA prior to race day.
