OSWEGO, New York – Dean Brownell, the former chef at the Embers Restaurant in Oswego has partnered with the Oswego Salvation Army for the upcoming Guest Chef Dinner to be held December 9th at 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the American Foundry, according to Major Corinne Hayes of the Oswego Chapter of the Salvation Army.
Brownell will be serving a salad with white vinegar dressing with cranberries and oranges, Chicken and chetneyu crepe with raspberry or orange sorbet drizzled on top, Pork loin stuffed with apricots and raisins with carmelized onion soubuise (puree of onions with bread crumbs), Cheese cream puff, and Julienne yellow squash and carrots.
“We’re looking forward to a wonderful evening and a great menu of food from Dean Brownell,†said Hayes. “The Oswego Salvation Army appreciates the continued support of this community for our guest chef fundraisers, and the amazing chefs that donate their time and expertise for our dinners.â€Â
