Friends of History In Fulton Invites You to Travel Back to the ’60s

The #1 ELVIS impersonator of the Fulton area, TOM GILBO.

FULTON, NY – Join the Friends of History in Fulton on November 4 at Tavern on the Lock (downstairs) as we turn back the clock and land in the 1960s.

What do you remember about the ’60s?

Baseball was America’s favorite past time. Music was clean and fun we could actually understand the lyrics. Teenagers were listening to music from Bobby Darin, Lesley Gore, The Beatles, and of course… Elvis!

Our favorite TV shows were vast and varied: Bewitched, Dragnet, and Flipper top the list.

Were you one of the many that were glued to your television set when the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show?

Were you hooked on the OUIJA Board or were you more inclined toward the fun family game, Twister?

Whether or not you remember those “good old days” and want to re-live them, or want to experience them for the first time….. THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU!

So take a step back in time and put on your mini skirt, hot pants, and those “white go-go boots” just made for walkin’, and join us for the fun.

Sue Ryan, from the Tavern on the Lock, is preparing a menu that will help transport us back in time.

The event starts with a cash bar at 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. Dinner will promptly begin at 6:30 p.m.

And, of course, Elvis will entertain. So grab your friends and join us!
