Principal Chris Leece introduced himself and other FJHS staff members to the large crowd gathered in the cafeteria before students and their families disbursed to student lockers to practice combinations, walked through their bell schedule and chatted with representatives from school and community organizations that offer support and assistance throughout the school year.

A picnic-style dinner with a hot dog, chips, apple and water was served to guests.

Leece said the event served as one way to show positive school-to-community relationships he hopes will continue to blossom throughout the 2017-2018 school year.
