Fulton YMCA to Host Flu Shot Clinic

Getting a flu shot decreases your risk of catching the flu and decreases your chances of spreading it to others. More than 200,000 people are hospitalized every year from the flu and complications. Don’t be one of them.

On Monday, September 27th the Fulton Family YMCA, in conjunction with the Fulton Price Chopper Pharmacy, will hold a flu clinic from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the YMCA. The cost of the Flu shot is $25. No sign ups are required. Bring your insurance information. Insurances can be billed: such as Medicare, Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Shield, MVP, Aetna and United Healthcare. This means that the insurance company can be billed directly, but coverage is not guaranteed. To find out if the flu vaccine is covered, a person should call their own insurance company. “Patients are responsible, and will be billed, for any portion of the vaccine cost that is not covered by their health insurance”.
