For the past 12 months, All Saints Episcopal Church has provided dinners to the public every Tuesday from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. These dinners are free of charge to those who wish to receive from this outreach ministry endeavor.

On average, 60 to 85 people attend each week. Some participants are family units, while others are not. Some receive because they must, while others enjoy the fellowship opportunity the weekly events provide. Last month, a special Thanksgiving dinner was provided in light of the secular holiday.

While a large portion of this parish outreach effort has been initially funded by the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York, parishioners have also stepped up by making regular monetary contributions to end hunger in our community.

Our local Price Chopper has also made donations to this cause, as has the local Council of Churches.

In addition to the usual meal, All Saints provided a special Christmas gift to those who attended the dinner on Tuesday, December 15. During its local Parish Advent Event, fourteen children, teens and adults decorated gift bags and Christmas cards that were distributed to those who wish to receive.

The children will also hold their Christmas Pageant on December 24 at 5:00 PM for the community. missing or outdated ad config
