OSWEGO, NY – More than 65 masons and their ladies attended a dinner and program celebrating the life of Mason and first President George Washington.
A roast beef supper was served by Lake City Victoria Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

Entertainment was provided by Edward Goodness.
Members of the Grand Lodge of Masons of the State of New York accompanied Deputy Grand Master James A. Sullivan to Lake City Lodge in Oswego.
Deputy Grand Master Sullivan offered a address on the life and service of Masonic Brother Washington.
He congratulated Lake City on nearly 100 years of George Washington dinners.
The senior Past Master of Lake City Lodge was honored with a certificate signed by the Grand Master of New York Grand Lodge Vincent Libone and a 65-year pin.
Donald Moss joined the Lodge in 1946 after service as a Marine and was Master in 1951.
On accepting the award, Don recounted a story of a young priest giving his first Mass.
Also honored for 65 years was Edwin Trudeau who was unable to attend the celebration.
