FULTON – The 31st Fulton Hunger Walk is gearing up for its walk on October 1.

Pictured is Kathy DeMott from the First United Methodist Church
receiving her packet for recruiting walkers from walk coordinator,
Lois Mirabito.
The walk is a Golden Mile or a 5-kilometer walk and
begins with registration at 1 p.m. at the Fulton Municipal Building’s
Community Room.
Monies raised helps alleviate hunger and provides in
recovery efforts when natural disasters occur such as our recent hurricanes and Mexico’s recent earthquake.
Twenty-five percent of the monies raised will support local food pantries and All Saint’s Tuesday night dinners and Prince of Peace’s Blessings in a Backpack ministries.
People interested in walking or supporting the Fulton CROP Hunger Walk may contact Lois Mirabito at [email protected]
for more information.
