GRANBY – For the second time this year, taxpayers voted down this building project.
This was another taxpayer expressed vote of 153 against to 60 for. With rising taxes, school, property and water districts being put in at high cost added to your tax bill, the public felt the present structure would serve the needs longer.
As stated at the public hearing services, will still continue.
This by no means stops the volunteers from responding.
“I would like to thank those who looked at this and came out and voted either for or against,” Brent Galvin said. “Now the Board of Fire Commissioners can move forward with addressing the issues with the present building.”
