
OSWEGO, New York – Jason Shi and Cindy He of The Wonton House in Oswego will be the guest chefs at the upcoming Oswego Salvation Army Benefit Dinner on June 16th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the New Salvation Army Kitchen at 73 West Second Street in Oswego, according to Major Corinne Hayes of the Oswego Chapter.
Shi and He will be serving up Sesame Chicken, Vegetable Lo Mein with angel hair pasta, Pan Fried Chicken Wonton, and a delicious Apple Wonton for dessert.
“We are very excited to showcase our new kitchen and The Wonton House for the June Guest Chef event,†said Hayes. “We’re looking forward to a terrific dinner and hope the Oswego community will come out and support their local Salvation Army.â€
Tickets for the event are $8.50 for adults, $5 for children aged 6-12, and FREE for children 5 and under. Pre-sale tickets are available at the Oswego Salvation Army location at 73 West Second Street, or by contacting them at (315) 343-6491.
Tours of the new facility will be available upon request.
All proceeds will benefit the Oswego Salvation Army.
The Oswego Salvation Army is part of the International Salvation Army organization, which is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. The local citadel provides food, education, services and spiritual support to the local community.
