Kids, Get Your Crayons Out for the Annual Coloring Contest!

APRIL IS FAIR HOUSING MONTH – The Oswego County Legislature’s Economic Development and Planning Committee presented a proclamation recognizing April as Fair Housing Month on April 10. OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Legislature declared April as Fair Housing Month on April 10. The recognition raises awareness of fair housing rights and reaffirms the county’s dedication to ensuring equal housing opportunities for all residents.

This year’s theme is “Bright Colors! Bright Futures! Fair Housing for All!”

To further mark the occasion, children from across the county are invited to enter the annual Oswego County Fair Housing Coloring Contest. It is open to children aged 4 to 12, with three prizes awarded in two separate age groups – 4 to 7 and 8 to 12.

Completed entries can be submitted to the Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning, 46 E. Bridge St., Oswego, NY 13126 by the contest deadline of Friday, May 23.
