Lakeside Artisans Offer Classes Throughout June

OSWEGO, NY – Through the month of June, Lakeside Artisans, 191 W. First St., will offer a variety of demonstrations and classes.

On June 7, from 5-7 p.m., Michele Southgate will demonstrate Watercolor Monotype, a printmaking technique.

John Ruttan will demonstrate his step-by-step approach to woodworking on June 21 from 5-7 p.m.

Demonstrations are free to the public.

On June 12, Southgate will offer a class in “Beginning Drawing” from 2-5 p.m.

The class will concentrate on teaching the participants to “see” like an artist.

On June 14, from 9 a.m. to noon, Southgate will also teach a class in the printmaking technique “Watercolor Monotype.”

Tim Ames will instruct an “Introduction to Acrylics” class on June 28 from 5-7 p.m.
