Twenty-one students at Lanigan Elementary School were recently recognized for exemplifying the character virtue tolerance.
Lanigan Elementary School third grade student Rimma Mankiewicz is all smiles as she shows off the Role Model award that she was presented with for demonstrating the character virtue tolerance.
School Principal Jeff Hendrickson honored the students during a recent school-wide character assembly and described the virtue and the honorees as having “the ability to listen to someone else’s ideas and interact with someone with differing ideas in a fair, kind and respectful way.”
Each honoree was presented with a special certificate commemorating their distinction as a role model with outstanding character virtues.
Tolerance was the January character trait of the month for students in Fulton City School District.
The February character trait of the month is honesty.
