Leslie English Of Dale Carnegie To Be Keynote Speaker At ‘Connections’

OSWEGO, NY – On Sept. 28, SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations and the Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training will gather women from across New York State for “Connections,” a day-long conference to be held at The American Foundry from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Leslie English, managing partner of Dale Carnegie Training in Central New York, delivering Dale Carnegie Training and Corporate Solutions to businesses and individuals throughout 15 counties in CNY.

Leslie leads and manages operations, marketing, sales and instructor development.

The CNY Dale Carnegie Office has recently been awarded the most prestigious award the Dale Carnegie Worldwide Organization presents to its franchisees.

She has received awards on an annual basis.

On Oct. 7, Leslie will also be receiving the American Red Cross “Women Who Mean Business” Award.

Leslie’s overall business focus is to consistently deliver a product that has measurable results, is of the highest quality and that answers the voice of their customer.

She has personally developed and coached executives and professionals in effective business strategies and leadership skills from more than 500 companies and positions throughout CNY.

She has been invited as a guest presenter for organizations such as the National Rotary Society, Leadership Greater Syracuse, Junior Achievement, Lockheed Martin Women’s Affinity Group, CNY Sales and Marketing Executives, Entrepreneurial Society of CNY, 21st Annual Local Government Conference, Future Business Leaders of America Association, Women TIES, WBOC, The Girl Scouts, and the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce.

Leslie is currently serving on the Girl Scouts of NYPENN board of directors.

Leslie resides in Syracuse with her husband, Tom, and their 5-year-old daughter, Tori.

Tammy Palmer of YNN will emcee the event.
