Lisa Gray Joins Chamber Staff

OSWEGO, NY – Executive Director of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Beth Hilton, announced that Lisa Gray has been named member sales and service associate for the chamber.

Gray, a graduate of SUNY Oswego with Bachelors Degrees in Secondary Education and Communications, previously worked in the public relations department at Oswego County BOCES and most recently as the director of marketing for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in Phoenix.

Gray is happy to be a part of the chamber staff and is enjoying her role with the chamber.

“I have always wanted to work for the chamber,” said Gray. “Oswego is my hometown. I’m proud to be from Oswego County and I see a lot of positives and plenty of potential for our businesses and our area. Working for the chamber provides me with an excellent opportunity to get involved and help our community.”

Hilton is pleased to have Gray as part of the chamber staff.

“Lisa is a welcomed addition to the chamber. Her enthusiasm for our community, her ability to interact with others and her genuine concern for the success of our members will serve her well. In her role as member sales and services associate, Gray will be heavily focused on educating both member and non-member businesses on what is available for them through the chamber and how the chamber works to helps their business.

“I want to make sure that business throughout Oswego County are aware of the many benefits that are awarded to them through membership in the chamber. I look to empower them to become more active, use their membership to its fullest and take advantage of networking opportunities that allow members to connect with other business people. I will be working closely with our membership and welcoming their input as to how the chamber is doing, what they like best about being a chamber member, and if there are any specific areas where they would like to see the chamber focusing on,” she said.

In addition to serving as an advocate for current chamber members, Gray is looking forward to meeting with non-member businesses and educating them on the many benefits the chamber has to offer.

“I enjoy meeting people and helping them succeed. I like what the chamber does and I’m happy to be a part of it. I am looking forward to sharing my enthusiasm for the chamber with my community,” she said.

A native Oswegonian, Gray lives in Oswego with her husband, Mike, and has three children, Kailyn, a sophomore at the West Virginia University, Tyler, a junior at Oswego High School and Caroline, a sixth grader at Riley Elementary.
