Little Lukes ‘Giving Thanks’ For OCO

FULTON, NY – Little Lukes Preschool and Childcare Center has signed on as a Silver Level Sponsor for Oswego County Opportunities’ “Giving Thanks” fundraiser.

The event will be held November 1 at the Lake Ontario Convention, Event and Conference Center in Oswego.

“As the leader in Oswego County for preschool and early childhood therapy services, Little Lukes puts a priority on nurturing the development of each child to ensure their life-long success,” said Ed Alberts, owner of Little Lukes Preschool and Childcare Centers. “We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and special education services to more than 1,400 children in Oswego County as well as preschool and childcare services to more than 250 children in Oswego County. We applaud OCO for its life-changing programs that serve families in Central New York.”

OCO’s “Giving Thanks” event will feature an assortment of Thanksgiving inspired food and refreshments from a variety of area restaurants including Canale’s Restaurant, Blue Moon Grill, La Parrilla, Mill House Market The Press Box, Mimi’s Drive-In and The Eis House.

An assortment of other choices will be available from Ontario Orchards, CiTi Culinary Arts, Appledale Orchards, Colosse Cheese, and OCO Nutrition Services as well as a selection of wine and beer samples from Eagle Beverage. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by guitarist, songwriter, recording artist, and session musician Loren Barrigar.

“We are happy to count Little Lukes among our supports,” said OCO Development Coordinator Margaret Barclay. “It’s rewarding to know that the work OCO does for children and families is recognized by an organization that also plays an important role in a child’s life.”

OCO’s “Giving Thanks” fundraiser will be held November 1 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the center, 26 E. First St. Tickets are $30 per person and include food, refreshments and beer tastings.
